The GLS Gas Detection Tube System is comprised of GLS Gas Detector Tubes and an Air Sampling Pump (AP-20). Each detector tube is formulated with high purity reagents that absorb and react with the target gas being measured. A colorimetric stain is created which is proportional in length to the target gas concentration. The concentration is read directly off the measurement scale on each tube for most applications. Using the AP-20 Air Sampling Pump (sold separately) sample gas is delivered to detector tubes in uniform increments of 50mL for a half-stroke and 100mL for a full stroke. All gas detector tubes are calibrated for use with n half or full strokes so that gas sampling is managed by stroke count.
INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE - Measures harmful gases & vapours in the atmosphere to control the concentration in the workplace.INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER - Measures effluent simply and quickly to identify the source of pollution anywhere.PROCESS CONTROL - Measures impurities in gases as raw feedback and intermediates to ensure high product quality and prevent catalyst poisoning to improve production efficiency.FIRE/EXPLOSION PREVENTION - Measures mixed combustible gases speedily and safely on-site without ignition source to prevent fire and explosion by leaked or generated gas. ON BOARD - Measures toxic gas before entering cargo rooms or checks residual gas after cleaning chemical tanks in conformity with the IMO rules.COMBUSTION EFFICIENCY - Measures CO, CO, and O, in exhaust gas to check combustion efficiency of combustion appliances.
AIR POLLUTION CONTROL - Measures toxic gases such as SO, and NO, in flue gas rapidly on-site to identify and control the source of pollutant in the aiEDUCATIONMeasures classroom environment or as an experimental tool for learning combustion and photosynthesis in a science class,PREVENT ACUTE POISONINGMeasures leaked, blowout, generated or residual toxic gases rapidly to prevent poisoning.DRINK DRIVING CONTROLMeasures alcohol in the breath and contributes to preventing alcohol related accidents.
Manufactured by Kitagawa, a pioneer in gas detector tubes. Starting with the introduction of H2S tubes for quality control in 1947, Kitagawa has continued to lead in the field of gas analysis.
