Guard Column Specifications

Column material	The same wetted material as the analytical column.
Packing material	We recommend using the same type of packing material as the analytical column. For ODS phases, SILFILTER STD C18 is also a compatible option.
Particle size	We recommended using the same particle size as the packing material in the analytical column.
Inner diameter	Select a guard compatible with a compatible column I.D. as noted in the guard column specification.
Length	To your requirement. A short guard column will typically suffice most applications while a longer size is recommended if there are many contaminants that the guard column is replaced frequently.
